5. Tissue Distortion and Esophageal Cancer
(Squamous Cell Carcinoma)
A person who has a habit of drinking strong liquor frequently causes cancer which means esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Why? The main reason originates in the following two mechanisms. First, his esophagus tends to easily cause third distortion arising from the mucosal epithelium (squamous epithelium) nearby the lamina propria mucosae. Second, his esophagus decreases the momentum by the long-time stimulus from strong liquor, and cause third distortion to increase the momentum. Now, let us check these two mechanisms in detail.
(a) Why does a person who has a habit of drinking strong liquor easily cause third distortion in the mucosal epithelium nearby the lamina propria mucosae?
The main reasons have two holds. First, the esophagus, as explained in the preceding section, causes secondary distortion that is in direction from the lamina propria mucosae to the mucosal epithelium. Second, the peak of this secondary distortion is in the mucosal epithelium nearby the lamina propria mucosae, and has the strongest tensile strength there. For the reasons, when the esophagus cannot bear the tensile strength of the secondary distortion, it causes third distortion in the mucosal epithelium (squamous epithelium) nearby the lamina propria mucosae. The figure below illustrates these mechanisms. |

(b) Why does the esophagus in a person having a habit of drinking strong liquor tend to strongly decrease the momentum, and require cells containing much momentum?
Next, consider why the esophagus in a person having a habit of drinking strong liquor tends to strongly decrease the momentum, and requires cells containing much momentum. When a person has a habit of drinking strong liquor, his esophagus is stimulated by the strong liquor for a long time. As a result, his esophagus is gradually damaged and decreases the momentum; thus, it waits for a chance of increasing the momentum. By this mechanism, his esophagus causes third distortion to increase the momentum. This third distortion transforms its containing cells into new cells, each of which has a large amount of momentum. Just these new cells indicate cancer cells.

Conclusion
All in all, a person having a habit of drinking strong liquor tends to frequently cause cancer in the mucosal epithelium in the esophagus. The esophagus in this person strongly decreases the momentum, and needs to strongly increase the momentum. Thus, it frequently causes a tumor, each cell of which contains a large amount of momentum. In addition, the esophagus causes a tumor arising from the mucosal epithelium nearby the lamina propria mucosae. Because of these two reasons, this esophagus causes cancer in the mucosal epithelium nearby by the lamina propria mucosae. Just this esophageal cancer indicates "Squamous cell carcinoma." |
