2. Medical Science and The Basic Philosophy

First of all, let us pay attention to the basic philosophy of modern medical science. Just when a civilization starts to develop, it always develops on the basis of its own basic philosophy. Likewise, medical science has also needed its basic philosophy in order to make a progress. Importantly, taking noticing of this point is the first step for us to analyze disease theoretically. Why? This is because unless we check whether modern medical science has a right philosophy or not, we cannot decide whether modern medical science allows medical researchers to find out the fundamental cause of disease or not.
Next, let us consider what basic philosophy modern medical science has. Usually when we have disease, we are suffered from the disease. For example, when we have disease, we cannot go not only to play but also to job. So we tend to regard disease as our enemy, and hope medical doctors to repulse the disease as soon as possible. Because of the reason, modern medical science tend to fight against disease, and has had the basic philosophy of regarding disease as our enemy.
Although it appears to be perfectly natural that medical science has the basic philosophy of regarding disease as our enemy, never think so. Why? This is because there is a strong possibility that just this thought prevents us, medical scientists, from finding out the fundamental cause of disease. Notice that there is a strong possibility that a human body causes disease in order to protect its life. Thus, we medical scientists need to check whether modern medical science has the right basic philosophy or not, and reconsider whether disease is our enemy or not.
Indeed, we medical scientists, before examining disease, should check what basic philosophy modern medical science has. Without checking it, we will be unable to establish good medical science in future. Reconsidering the basic philosophy of modern medical science must the first step to make new medical science. Now, consider again as follows: "is disease our enemy? or is disease our friend?" |
